How you pay your tuition fees depends on the type of funding you have, where you are from and whether you are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Ways to pay your fees
Pay your fees via a sponsor or the Student Loans Company
Fee support from a sponsor
If you are sponsored or receive an undergraduate student loan, your fees will be paid directly by your sponsorship organisation or the Student Loans Company.
Paying by credit or debit card
You can make fee payments with your credit or debit card from anywhere with internet access. If you’ve set up a recurring payment and need to change your card details, simply visit our online payments system to update them.
Paying by bank transfer
Electronic transfers
Payments can be made by electronic transfer directly into the University’s bank account.
Scholarships available to postgraduate students
Canada Elite Scholarship
Partial tuition fee reduction
This scholarship will automatically be applied to all eligible international fee-paying students with Canadian citizenship.
Chevening Scholarships
Accommodation and tuition fees
This postgraduate scholarship is open to eligible international applicants who are considering a full-time master’s in the UK.
EU Bright Future Scholarship
Tuition fees in part
Our EU Bright Futures Scholarship will automatically be applied to eligible EU students with overseas fee status starting a degree with us in September 2025 or January 2026.
International Bright Future Scholarship
£3,000 tuition fee reduction
This scholarship will automatically be applied to all eligible international fee-paying students.
Latin American Elite Scholarship
Partial tuition fee reduction
This scholarship will automatically be applied to all eligible international fee-paying students with citizenship from a Latin American country.
London Metropolitan University Sanctuary Scholarship
A scholarship for students who might otherwise be unable to access higher education funding as a result of their immigration status.
USA Elite Scholarship
Partial tuition fee reduction
This scholarship will automatically be applied to all eligible international fee-paying students with USA citizenship.
